This paper presents influence analysis of bracket set on seismic performance of steel eave columns in Chinese traditional style buildings. Eight 1/1.5‐scale steel eave columns were constructed and tested under low cyclic reversed loading, including 4 specimens with bracket set and 4 specimens without bracket set. Based on the analysis of the strain of the specimens, the failure modes of the specimens were obtained. In addition, the hysteresis loops, skeleton curves, degradations of stiffness and strength, ductility, and dissipation capacities of the specimens were analyzed. Bracket set changed the force transfer mechanisms and failure modes of the specimens and had a significant influence on the seismic performance of the specimens. Compared with the specimens without bracket set, the yielded and ultimate bearing capacities of the specimens with bracket set improved by 30.7% and 24.0%, respectively. And also, the stiffness of the specimens with bracket set at the yielded and ultimate points increased by 52.8% and 135.6%. The dissipation capacities of the specimens with bracket set were 2.12 times those of the specimens without bracket set at yielded load. However, the ductility of the specimens with bracket set slightly decreased by 8.5%. It was shown that the seismic performance of the specimens with bracket set was better than that of the specimens without bracket set. This study aims to examine the practicality of a novel passive heat transport system “thermosyphon heat transport device” (THTD). It is a fluid-filled unit, with both source and sink amalgamated within it. A vertical tube-in-tube design has been incorporated, consisting of heat source, adiabatic height, and sink. To showcase the performance, a transient numerical analysis is performed using ANSYS Fluent, which is compared with the simple closed thermosiphon (SCT) for heat transport capability (1 kW) and different adiabatic heights (0.25, 1, and 1.5 m). Also, the influence of axial conduction is examined. The proposed Therminol VP1-based THTD has better heat transport capability over SCT due to a uniform flow pattern. Although the time response diminishes with adiabatic height, the novelty is justified as the heat gained by THTD (adiabatic height: 1.5 m) is 1.5 times more than SCT. Furthermore, the THTD performance is experimentally analyzed by varying the coolant flow rate (0.01, 0.02, and 0.03 kg/s), heat load (100−600 W), and transport distance (0.25 and 0.75 m), which yielded 80%−90% energy efficiency. As the THTD is crucial for a conceptual solar indoor cooker, the response under transient heating/cooling conditions is also investigated, which depicted 300 s for transient heating and 10−50 s for transient cooling. 相似文献

Feature selection and sentiment analysis are two common studies that are currently being conducted; consistent with the advancements in computing and growing the use of social media. High dimensional or large feature sets is a key issue in sentiment analysis as it can decrease the accuracy of sentiment classification and make it difficult to obtain the optimal subset of the features. Furthermore, most reviews from social media carry a lot of noise and irrelevant information. Therefore, this study proposes a new text-feature selection method that uses a combination of rough set theory (RST) and teaching-learning based optimization (TLBO), which is known as RSTLBO. The framework to develop the proposed RSTLBO includes numerous stages: (1) acquiring the standard datasets (user reviews of six major U.S. airlines) which are used to validate search result feature selection methods, (2) pre-processing of the dataset using text processing methods. This involves applying text processing methods from natural language processing techniques, combined with linguistic processing techniques to produce high classification results, (3) employing the RSTLBO method, and (4) using the selected features from the previous process for sentiment classification using the Support Vector Machine (SVM) technique. Results show an improvement in sentiment analysis when combining natural language processing with linguistic processing for text processing. The development of T-spherical fuzzy (T-SF) sets in qualitative multiple-criteria choice analysis has been well investigated, but little is explored about how the VIKOR (i.e., VIšekriterijumsko KOmpromisno Rangiranje in Serbian) mechanism is generalized into intricate T-SF environments. This paper has the objective of propounding a creative T-SF VIKOR methodology for compromise ranking modeling in multiple criteria analysis. The exploitation of the T-SF configuration brings about superior information space representation in response to intricate realistic environments. However, because of the increased complexity of decision situations involving T-spherical fuzziness, treatment with the T-SF information arises a pragmatic difficulty in developing methodological approaches to T-SF VIKOR. In light of this concern, this paper unfolds an analytical framework for the T-SF VIKOR method predicated on new notions of an evolved T-SF score function and the Minkowski-type T-SF distance measure along with its special cases of the Manhattan-, Euclidean-, and Chebyshev-type distances. The aspired and despised T-SF characteristics can be identified supported by the evolved T-SF score function of T-SF performance ratings. This paper gives a new delineation of the group utility, individual regret, and joint generalized measures with the aid of the Minkowski-type T-SF distance measure relative to the aspired/despised T-SF characteristics. A synthetic mechanism is built to validate the standards of acceptable advantage and stability and yield the ultimate compromise choices for multiple criteria decision aiding. The practicality of the T-SF VIKOR methodology in down-to-earth decision situations has been well demonstrated through the selection issues of warehouse locations and advertisement strategies. Moreover, the developed approach has shown better application outcomes than the past methods did.
